Did you know that the orange/pink light that says “Don’t Walk” at a crosswalk has a name? It’s Portland Orange! Inspired by sign that so many people love to ignore, our Portland Orange yarn has slight color variations throughout, giving it a slight heathered effect. And yes, it is what we would call a pink-orange. There’s a reason we didn’t turn that color combination into a portmanteau.
This 100% alpaca yarn is incredibly soft, supple, and perfect for your next knitting project, but please look both ways before your cross the street.
Natural Yarn
We believe in processing our yarn without harsh processes like superwashing or acid bathing. While we take multiple steps to remove vegetative matter from the fiber, some may remain in the finished yarn that is usually removable after knitting. After all, animals live outside!
