Life’s a peach! It was estimated that the peach from James and the Giant Peach was about 74 feet tall. We don’t have a knitting pattern handy for a similarly sized peach, but we would love pictures if you attempt to tackle this very worthy project.
This 100% alpaca yarn was created using our heathering process. We dye between 10-30% pure white alpaca to a shade of our desired color, then combine it randomly at the carder. Once spun, the yarn has flecks of varying color throughout giving a truly unique (and very forgiving) pattern.
Natural Yarn
We believe in processing our yarn without harsh processes like superwashing or acid bathing. While we take multiple steps to remove vegetative matter from the fiber, some may remain in the finished yarn that is usually removable after knitting. After all, animals live outside!
