Description
Our flagship scarf, The Galchutt, is the product of hundreds of hours of research and testing aimed at producing high-quality Made in the USA textiles.
Earlier in 2024, we set out to bring small scale, high-quality textile production to farms across the United States. From sourcing the raw fiber all the way to the finished product, Yarn Factory does it 100% in-house. This piece represents the first in our new line of Made in the USA apparel and textiles, The Collection by Yarn Factory.
Available in two heathered color combinations, this alpaca scarf features a double knit jacquard pattern that will keep you warm even on the coldest days. The scarf measures approximately 7 ” wide by 60″ long and weighs in at about 8 ounces, but each scarf may vary slightly as we are using natural fibers processed in small batches.
About Our Process
The alpaca fiber in this scarf comes from Red Granite Ranch in Livermore, Colorado. The fiber is blended, washed, and processed into string at Yarn Factory in Colfax, North Dakota. Yarn Factory then knits the scarves in Fargo, ND using state-of-the-art automated knitting machines through a partnership with the Innovation Studio. 100% traced, 100% US Made, and 100% quality that matches anything you would expect to see from an upmarket retailer.
