I have loved my flock, nurtured them, cuddled them, helped them into this world….they are my loves! Most of my “fiber” time has been involved with them physically.

Yarn Factory took my roving and batt stash and worked miracles to get it into yarn form so I could make things for my family in my retirement years.

So, Cossette, Evangelina, Napoleon, and Harry, each with their own story, will become a hug for my children and grandchildren in the form of socks, scarves, and throws.

I run a fiber farm where we raise three different sheep breeds. Finding a mill capable of handling all three breeds has been extremely difficult. In the past, I faced the need to ship my fleeces to two different places. Additionally, the closure of mills has made it increasingly difficult to find a place to process my fleeces. After a long search for a mill to process my fleeces, I found Yarn Factory and contacted them.

Jessie wasted no time in getting in touch with me, explaining their process, and offering to send samples. We discussed my fiber, and she provided some breed-based suggestions. When I received my yarn, it was absolutely gorgeous and the uniformity amazing. Every breed was well-represented, and the craftsmanship exceeded expectations.

Despite living over 1,500 miles away from the mill, I have no hesitation in shipping to Jessie. I’ve had an incredibly positive experience with Yarn Factory, and I’m eager to continue working with them in the future.

You guys have been SO awesome! In a world lacking humans and personalization and customer service, it has been SO nice to work with you and your customer service is top notch!!

Fast forward to the fall and I discovered Yarn Factory. I’m not great at putting all my thoughts into words but I knew from the first time we communicated they would be perfect for us to work with!

They took the time to zoom call me to explain the entire process and not once did they make me feel like I was “too small!” I also told them that the biggest goal of our journey is to educate others about alpaca and all they have to offer so I was wanting to use the final product for education purposes and wondered if they could take a few photos of the processing journey of the fiber. Let me just say they did not disappoint! They sent photos and videos and today we received the final product.

I am 100% satisfied and will forever sing their praises! They really heard me. They made our little farm feel like we were a part of this big family!

I just want to let you know we just got our yarn yesterday in the mail and it is absolutely awesome. It is the best yarn we’ve ever had processed before. You guys did an amazing job with the true black Suri and Huacaya. We are just so pleased with it.

I was very impressed with the Yarn Factory. Jessie kept in contact with me while processing my yarn. She custom designs the yarn that is beautiful. Great turnover time.

WIN/WIN!! I am SO happy with the yarn Jessie made from my Alpaca fleece! I got exactly what I asked for and she is very good about communicating any changes. I know this yarn is glorious to work with, as I have 2 scarves in progress. I’m a spinner, so Jessie also turned some of my fleece into cloud for me. (It’s also great for turning into rugs or to finish off dryer balls!) As soon as I have time to skirt more fleece she’s getting it!!

Yarn Factory did a great job of making our fleece into cloud and yarn. The addition of blends is beautiful. Jessie even included one washed (bloomed) skein with each separate blanket order so we could see how it looks. All the skeins are marked with length and returned to us divided by our entry notes so we can label each skein correctly.

Definitely will be using them again.

As someone who was completely new to yarn production, I appreciated the time and effort Jessie put into helping me determine the proper blending ratio and yarn weight for combining our angora with alpaca fleece from Ten Seven Acres. She went above and beyond to describe all the steps involved in yarn production, with step-by-step photos!

I just can’t say enough about how delightful my experiences have been with Yarn Factory. They are working on the third batch of custom yarn for us, and I am already planning new blends–I’m just so pleased and impressed with their fine work!
