This chocolate brown yarn will warm your heart, no ballroom dancing skills or castle required. We can’t, however, guarantee that candelabra voiced by Ewan McGregor will make an appearance. But, maybe he will. Made from 85% US-Raised alpaca from Gaston at Ten Seven Acres in Galchutt, ND and combined with 15% bamboo, this yarn needs no magical transformation to be perfect.
About the Farm
Since 2013, our farm has been home to about 25 alpacas – far outnumbering people in our small town of Galchutt, North Dakota. Each year our alpacas get sheared just once, making their soft and warming fiber truly something special. Keeping it hyper-local, the fiber is transformed into finished yarn just 9 miles up the road at our sister-company and fiber mill, Yarn Factory.
